Sparking Curiosity at the Watertown Middle School!

This week, Sentry had the incredible opportunity to ignite young minds at the Watertown Middle School Career Day—and let’s just say, the future of electrical innovation is looking brighter than ever!

One of the biggest highlights? Our interactive circuit board, designed and built by our very own William, gave students hands-on experience in electrical wiring. The challenge? Wire it correctly, and the lights turn red—make a mistake, and it trips the circuit with a yellow warning light.

To take learning to the next level, William also created a 3D-printed schematics board to visually demonstrate how each electrical component should be wired. This gave students a real-world look at how electrical circuits function and the importance of proper wiring.

The response was amazing. Kids jumped right in, eager to learn how electricity works and how wiring plays a critical role in everyday life—from their video games to the lights in their classrooms. Seeing their enthusiasm as they experimented, learned, and problem-solved was exactly why we love what we do.

At Sentry, we believe in building the future—not just through electrical solutions, but by inspiring the next generation of innovators, builders, and problem solvers. This event was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more excited about the young talent and curiosity we saw there.
