Sentry’s SD Service team completed an industrial equipment removal and machine transfer project at an existing manufacturing facility in Monaca, Pennsylvania
The work involved disassembling, removing, and preparing legacy manufacturing equipment for transport back to South Dakota. Because the equipment is intended for future reinstallation and original manufacturer documentation is limited, the removal process was documented in detail to support accurate reassembly at a later date
Industrial rigging and machine transfer
All major components were labeled and documented during removal to ensure clarity during future reinstallation.
Sentry coordinated rigging, lifting, and transportation activities to safely remove and stage the equipment for transport. Telehandlers were used to manage equipment weight and positioning during removal, staging, and loading.
Documentation was completed alongside removal activities, capturing connection points, component orientation, and assembly relationships. This approach ensured the equipment could be transported without damage and reinstalled accurately when needed.
The project demonstrates Sentry’s ability to perform detailed industrial equipment removal and machine transfer work while preserving equipment for future reuse. Through disciplined rigging practices, in-house transportation, and thorough documentation, Sentry supported the client’s operational needs and future reinstallation plans.
Sentry’s SD Service team supports industrial and manufacturing clients with equipment removal, machine transfer, and transportation services. From rigging and specialty tooling to documentation that supports future reinstallation, our crews focus on doing the work right and protecting what comes next.
