Behind every major construction project is a team of skilled professionals whose work helps bring a vision to life. At Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa, Sentry’s South Dakota Service Division is helping lay the structural foundation for the future of healthcare in the community.
As part of the medical center’s new Medical Office Building project, Sentry’s field crews have been hard at work performing structural steel erection, bringing together the precision, coordination, and craftsmanship necessary to support a project of this scale.

With Sentry’s portion of the project now approximately 90% complete, the numbers tell an impressive story:
- 250,000+ pounds of structural steel erected
- 350+ pounds of welding rod utilized
- 12,000 Hilti shots used throughout the project
These milestones represent more than materials and measurements. They reflect the dedication, technical expertise, and hands-on experience of the skilled professionals working in the field every day.
The new Medical Office Building will provide approximately 30,000 square feet of space, bringing together UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine providers and Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Pharmacy in a modern, patient-centered facility. This investment will help strengthen access to healthcare services for Storm Lake and surrounding communities.
For Sentry’s South Dakota Service Division, projects like this demonstrate the importance of dependable field execution, teamwork, and attention to detail. From positioning structural components to completing critical connections, every phase requires careful coordination and a commitment to quality workmanship.

As the steel erection work approaches completion, we’re proud to recognize the Sentry team members whose efforts are helping move this important community project forward.
