Sentry delivered a turnkey renovation for the LATC Surgical Technology program in Watertown, SD, transforming existing classroom space into a state-of-the-art surgical training facility. The project required expertise across multiple in-house divisions, all working in coordination under a tight project timeline.
Our Project Management team directed the full scope of work, from demolition through final installation. By overseeing scheduling, trade sequencing, and resource allocation, they ensured seamless integration of efforts across all divisions while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
Sentry’s Electrical Division completed the full electrical package, including power distribution, lighting, and systems wiring to support advanced surgical equipment. The Structural Steel Division fabricated and installed critical framing to reinforce walls, support ceiling-mounted systems, and integrate specialized surgical booms. Meanwhile, our General Construction group carried out demolition, concrete pours, masonry preparation, and finishing details, from cabinetry and TV mounts to fire protection specialties, sealants, doors, and accessories.
The completed renovation provides Lake Area Technical College with a cutting-edge training environment designed to prepare students for careers in surgical technology. By uniting multiple self-performing divisions under a single point of accountability, Sentry delivered a high-quality facility that reflects both technical expertise and operational excellence.
